Auditions for Circuit Play

You are invited to audition for our next festival circuit play, ‘Old Times’ by Harold Pinter, in the Abbey Arts Centre on Tuesday the 27th of October at 8.30pm. ALL WELCOME. If you are interested in acting or taking part in the festival circuit, please come along. Scripts will be provided on the night. Open to members and non-members alike. Cast: 2f, 1m. Ballyshannon Drama Society will return to the festival circuit next year with a new production of Harold Pinter’s ‘Old Times’. In one of Pinter’s greatest dramatic creations, first produced in 1971 by the RSC, Deeley and his wife Kate are visited by Anna, a mysterious friend of Kate’s from long ago. What begins as a trip down memory lane quickly becomes something more, as long-simmering feelings of fear and jealousy begin to fuel the trio’s passions, sparking a seductive and haunting battle for power. The play is currently enjoying a high profile revival on Broadway in a production starring Clive Owen, Eve Best and Kelly Reilly, with music by Thom Yorke of Radiohead.
