Skibbereen Theatre present
by Jimmy Murphy

Dave, a care assistant with a complicated love life, Jack a professional actor who
has suffered a life changing accident, and Lily, a retired Irish born civil servant,
cross paths in the Sisters of Calvary Nursing Home on the Hammersmith Road,
London, in this bittersweet comedy about friendship, determination and survival.

History of the Group
Skibbereen’s first appearance on the festival circuit was in 1991 with Brian Friel’s
“Philadelphia Here I Come”. Since then they’ve been active every year either on tour
or in home productions. Stand out memories are “Stolen Child”, “Cavalcaders”, “A
Kiss on the Bottom”, “Family Plot” and “Flight to Grosse lle”.
