‘The Cripple of the Inishmaan’ by Martin Mc Donagh is a dark comedy set on the aran islands in 1934. With the arrival of a Hollywood film crew on neighbouring island, Inishmore, the small community of Inishmaan is rife with excitement as many, including Cripple Billy see it as a chance to escape the gossip and boredom of island life.
